„Setting a Good Corner"

The work "Setting a Good Corner" combines three kinds of material (acrylic glass, MDF and paper) to create corners with the help of panel connectors. A photograph is printed on paper which shows a person holding the ceramic object "Loner" towards her elbow. The object becomes the prosthetic extension of a human body. The idea of handeling material in space in a prosthetic way is the research of this piece. The title refers to Bruce Nauman's work from 1999, in which he filmed himself setting up the corner of a fence on his farm.
